This is a truly unique vintage treasure
Custom made 50s shirt-style dress
of black raw silk offset by a stunning collar and cuff detail
in bright red satin featuring a dainty black and white floral pattern
The cuff is finished with a single textured black button – stunning!
The shirt style collar tapers into a V-shape
folding over at the bust and has an inner metal fastening,
a singular seam runs the remainder of the bodice to the
waist and there is a darted bustline for extra form.
Belt loops are in place and the skirt is a full circle
darting from loose pleats at the waistband to give
a beautiful full shape without the need of a crinoline.
Note the pretty layer of lace ribbon adorning the hem
– a lovely finishing touch.
