The following are the Terms and Conditions for the purchase of products from Perk Up Online.
Use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Perk Up! System

We do our very best to accurately date, carefully describe and measure with detail each item for sale.

All of our stock is guaranteed Grade A - unless otherwise specified – and in that rare occurence we clean, mend and repair as required.

We check every vintage item with scrutiny when in our care so you only receive the very best.   Please understand that most vintage clothing has been worn and will often not be in perfect ‘as new’ condition – terms from our descriptive chart below will accurately describe every piece.

Vintage Sizing

Our vintage garments are measured in inches / cm with every dimension considered so it is advisable that you measure yourself accordingly as modern day sizing differs so much to clothing in the vintage eras.

If you need help in how to take your measurements or have any questions regarding vintage clothing, we will be more than happy to help.

We provide the following measurements per vintage clothing garment:

  • Bust (from under each arm and across)
  • Hips
  • Waist (at the fullest portion)
  • Full length of item
  • Length of corset/skirt if appropriate
  • and any other available dimensions

Vintage Clothing Condition

We provide a detailed description of each vintage garment with details about the condition. This is a chart of the typical grading system for vintage clothing.

Vintage Clothing Grades

  • IMMACULATE : Could almost be New!
  • EXCELLENT : No problems at all, fabulous condition.
  • VERY GOOD : May have been worn a little but nothing very noticeable and still very wearable.
  • GOOD : May show signs of wear or need a little TLC.

What happens after you buy Vintage Clothing from Us?

Once we have processed your information, If you are a registered user you will receive a confirmation email with the grand total

Please be advised we do not hold items, so please make payment as soon as possible. Shipping is calculated according to weight and method of delivery opted by you.

Please be aware that our site is manually updated and as good as we are - a "Sold" sign will not show up automatically after placing your order.

Can we hold / reserve Vintage Clothing for you?

Sorry guys! as mentioned we do not hold items.
Our system is "first pay, first sell."
When payment is received, your item is reserved for you. If you see an item "Sold," the sale is not always necessarily final, so do feel free to inquire about any reserved items that catch your eye…

Payment

We accept payment online by Paypal.
Goods will only be despatched once payment has been received in full. All products remain the property of perk up online until payment is received in full.

Photographs

We have made all reasonable efforts to ensure each photograph accurately reflects the product being sold. On occasions, there may be minor differences between the product's appearance in the photograph and the item delivered due to colour discrepancies on certain computer monitors and lighting, etc

Shipping your Vintage Clothing

See shipping page for cost indications.
Your order is processed the moment it is received and shipped within 48 hours. Prices of individual items do not include delivery charges until taken to the checkout.
Although we can provide an indication of typical delivery times, specific delivery times or dates cannot be guaranteed.
Claims for non-delivery must be made within 20 days.

For orders being shipped outside the Republic of Ireland we cannot be held responsible for importation taxes/duty charges.

All address information must be accurate including the postcode where appropriate and the recipient's telephone number. Perk Up! cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient's address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered when the courier obtains receipt of the goods confirmation from any person at that address. It is the customer's duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the delivery, which will be delivered by third party couriers. Where the courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, a calling card will be left for the recipient to contact the courier and arrange to pick-up from the local depot or agree an alternative delivery time or alternative location at the discretion of the courier.

If the recipient fails to make contact in good time, the goods are returned to us and a charge will be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address. The purchaser will also be charged for any items which have become unsuitable for sale.
